Jenny Tote Bag Pattern Release

|

This pattern release will always hold a special place in my heart as this Tote Bag pattern has been made in honor of my mum, Jenny Fotheringham who tragically passed away due to Pancreatic Cancer in August 2018.

When you purchase this PDF Pattern 50% of all proceeds from the sale will be donated to Pancare Australia’s not-for-profit pancreatic cancer organisation. If more can be done to help people find out sooner that they have the cancer, then there will be more hope of curing it. Early detection is the key!

Sewing your own bags gives the exciting option to personalize to your own taste. This functional, durable, multisize bag can be rolled and stored in your purse, pram or glove box until you are ready to use again.

This PDF document comes with all the pieces you need to make 4 handy sizes of Tote Bag with 3 roll up fastening methods. Included in the pattern are 2 video tutorial links. The first links to a tutorial for the entire bag, the second links to a tutorial for just the ‘Burrito Method’ used to construct the handles of the bag.

Due to the internal French seams you will only require your sewing machine straight stitch and no overlocker. This finish gives you a clean look on the inside and a super-strong bag so you will feel confident loading them up.

Size Range: S, M, L, XL
Fabric: Wovens. Quilting cotton, lawn, poplin, nylon rip-stock.

Sizes L and XL sizes can also be made in duck or canvas.

Thank you to all my lovely testers that helped test and edit and promote this pattern. Your support has be remarkable and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. xx
